Pose for Cosplay Photos With Your Build in Mind
Use simple stance, hand placement, and camera angles that show costume shape, armor details, and prop work clearly.

A good cosplay photo gives the costume room to read. Start with a relaxed neutral pose that shows the main silhouette, then change one thing at a time: shoulder angle, hand position, prop height, or the direction of your face.
Keep the details you worked hardest on visible to the camera. A chest panel, hood shape, bracer, belt, or prop can disappear if the pose turns it away from the lens.
Choose poses you can hold comfortably. Natural movement and a confident expression usually look better than forcing a difficult position that shifts the costume or hides the design.
