Pack a Cosplay Repair Kit That Solves Real Problems
Bring a compact kit built around the fasteners, edges, seams, and comfort fixes most likely to matter during an event.
A repair kit should solve the problems your costume is actually likely to have. Start with the test run: any strap that slips, edge that rubs, loose trim, or awkward closure belongs on the kit list.
Bring flexible fasteners such as safety pins, small clips, and spare elastic or webbing. Include tape suited to the materials you are wearing, plus a small sewing kit if fabric is involved.
Keep comfort supplies separate from construction supplies. Water, blister protection, a small snack, and a way to carry removed armor pieces may matter more after several hours than another paint pen.
Pack the kit in a labeled pouch and refresh it after each event. The best repair kit stays small enough to bring and specific enough to use.
