Make a Cosplay Comfort Test Plan

Comfort testing turns a costume from a good-looking build into something you can actually wear for hours.

Test the costume in the same base layers and shoes you will wear at the event. Walk, sit, turn, climb stairs, and reach overhead while noting pressure points and restricted movement.

Break the test into short rounds for armor, helmet, footwear, and accessories. Add padding only after identifying the source of the pressure, and leave access to every closure you may need to adjust alone.

Record the fixes in a short checklist and repeat the test after each major change.
