Fit Mass Effect-Inspired Armor for Comfort
Use spacing, flexible attachment points, and practical movement tests to keep a space-armor build wearable for more than a photograph.

Armor can look powerful in a standing pose while becoming difficult the moment you sit, climb a step, or reach for something. Comfort begins with leaving room for the body to move rather than treating every panel as a rigid shell.
Test the chest, shoulders, and collar first. These areas affect arm movement, breathing, and head position. A paper or thin-foam mockup will show where a panel needs a gap, a hinge, or a softer edge.
Separate cosmetic panels from the attachment system. A light harness, elastic, webbing, or adjustable straps can carry the weight while the visible armor stays clean and easier to repair.
Wear the full setup for a short test at home. Sit down, reach above shoulder height, look at the floor, and walk through a doorway. A comfortable version is the version you will wear and photograph more often.
