Finish EVA Foam Cosplay Edges Cleanly
Use careful cuts, controlled heat, and patient surface preparation to make armor edges look deliberate in person and in photos.

Clean edges begin before glue or paint. Use a sharp blade, steady support, and a few test cuts on offcuts before committing to visible armor panels.
Shape the foam gradually and inspect the edge from multiple angles. Small adjustments can improve the way a panel catches light and make a costume feel more intentional without adding extra detail.
Prepare the surface patiently before paint. A consistent finish across the main silhouette usually reads better than a complicated texture that makes the edge look rough or uneven.
