Attach Cosplay Armor With Magnets
Use magnets only where they improve access and alignment, while keeping the load-bearing parts supported by straps or structure.

Magnets can make a costume easier to put on and repair, but they work best as alignment tools rather than the only thing holding a heavy armor piece in place. Start with small panels, removable covers, or overlapping details that need a clean seam.
Test polarity and placement before gluing anything. Mark matching sides, use a temporary tape setup, and check how the pieces behave while you walk, turn, and sit. A magnet that feels strong on a table can shift once the costume flexes.
Use straps, elastic, or a harness for weight-bearing parts. When magnets simply guide panels into position, they give the costume a clean finish without making comfort or movement depend on a single connection.
