Add Simple Electronics to a Display Prop
Plan a small light, switch, or screen effect that supports a prop without making the project difficult to maintain.
Electronics work best as one clear accent. Decide whether the prop needs a soft glow, a small screen treatment, or a single illuminated control before buying parts or cutting openings.
Keep the power source and controls easy to reach. A removable panel, hidden switch, or simple battery access point makes future repairs much easier than sealing everything into the prop.
Test the effect at normal viewing distance. The light should support the silhouette and surface work rather than becoming brighter than the object itself.
