Big game-inspired projects are exciting because they let you imagine the final reveal. They also become easier to abandon when the first step requires too many new tools, too much storage space, or weeks of uncertain work.

Choose a version one. It can be a helmet instead of a full suit, a single display panel instead of a room set, or a small terrain piece instead of an entire world. A finished version one gives you a real foundation for version two.

Set a material budget and a time budget. Limits make decisions easier. They push you toward the details that will actually show and away from complexity that no one will notice.

When the project is done, photograph it and write down what you would change next time. That small habit turns every finished piece into a better starting point for the next one.
