Set Up a Small Game Project Workspace
Create a practical hobby area that supports measuring, making, painting, and packing up without taking over the whole room.

A useful project workspace does not need to be large. It needs enough clear surface for the current task and a place for tools to go when the work session ends. Begin by separating the activities that make the most mess from the activities that need a clean surface.
Keep frequently used tools within reach and store specialty items in labeled containers. A small tray for cutting tools, measuring supplies, or active paint colors can make setup faster without permanently covering the table.
Plan cleanup as part of the workspace. A place for scraps, a protective cover for the surface, and a simple way to pack unfinished work make it more likely that you will return to the project tomorrow.
