Finish a Project With a Final Checklist
A short final pass helps turn a nearly complete game project into one that is safe, clean, and ready to share.
The final ten percent of a project often decides whether it feels finished. A short checklist gives you one calm pass for details that were easy to postpone while you were focused on the main build.
Check stability first. Test stands, attachment points, straps, handles, and any part that needs to support weight. Fixing a weak point before display or wear is easier than repairing a damaged piece later.
Look at the project from the distance where it will normally be seen. This is the best time to spot uneven paint lines, a missing accent color, a visible seam, or a detail that needs to be simplified.
Clean away dust, loose threads, tape residue, and temporary marks. Then take a few finished photographs before the object joins a busy shelf or event bag.
Finally, write down what you learned. One sentence about the material, finish, or pattern will make your next project faster and more enjoyable.
