Plan Gaming Collectible Shelving Before You Buy
Choose shelf size, load support, spacing, and lighting around the collection you already have and the pieces you want to add.
A good display shelf begins with measurements, not shopping. Gather representative pieces from the collection and record their height, depth, weight, and the room they need around them to be seen clearly.
Choose a shelf depth that supports the largest intended item without forcing it against the back wall or crowding the front edge. Leave room for stands, labels, and access when you want to dust or rearrange.
Plan for load support before filling the shelf. Heavier statues, boxed sets, and dense model displays can add up quickly, so follow the manufacturer guidance and anchor it appropriately for the room.
Leave at least one area open for rotation. A display that can evolve stays enjoyable and gives new finds a place to land without requiring a complete reorganization.
