Make a collection easier to enjoy by giving each shelf a point of view instead of trying to show everything at once.
A display works best when it gives the eye somewhere to start. Choose one hero item for a shelf, then use smaller pieces to support it instead of lining every object up at the same visual volume.
Group by game, color, material, or scale. Any one of those can create a useful theme. What matters is that the grouping feels intentional and gives you a rule for deciding what belongs there.
Leave some open space. It makes individual items easier to see and gives you room to rotate new finds into the display. A shelf that is slightly underfilled often looks more considered than one that is packed edge to edge.
Use stable stands and keep valuable pieces away from direct sun, moisture, and high-traffic edges. The goal is a display you can live with, adjust, and enjoy every day.
