Document Your 3D Print Settings for Better Projects

Keep a practical record of settings, material choices, finish steps, and lessons learned so the next print starts from a better place.

A simple print record turns each completed project into useful experience. Write down the material, layer height, orientation, support approach, and any result that surprised you during the print.

Add a quick note about fit and finish. A setting that makes a strong structural part may not be the best choice for a smooth display shell, and the difference is easy to forget after several projects.

Keep the record close to the file or reference images. The goal is not perfect documentation; it is having enough information to make the next attempt quicker, calmer, and more consistent.
